Description
Epithalon Nasal Spray
The pineal gland in the brain naturally produces epithalamin (epithalon tetra), which is a synthetic tetra-peptide version of epitalamin. Animal and human studies have demonstrated that the epithalamin peptide has a variety of beneficial biological activities. For example, the mean and maximum ageing life spans of rats, mice, and flies increased after long-term exposure to epithalamin. In addition, Epitalon stimulates telomerase activity in human cells, resulting in telomere lengthening, possibly due to telomerase gene reactivation.
Synthetic epithalon is a tetra-peptide version of the brain’s penial gland’s natural product, epithalamin. Epithalon has demonstrated a variety of beneficial biological activities in both animal and human studies.
It’s been discovered that epithalon helps maintain cell division-related genetic information by increasing the activity of telomerase and telomere length. This is important because every time DNA replicates, a small piece of a chromosome is lost.
When people get older, their telomeres get shorter, and this shortening impacts their health and longevity. So the fact that epithalon is associated with telomere lengthening and telomerase activity suggests that it may help people live longer and be healthier overall.
