Elamipretide Peptide Vial 50mg
SS-31 Elamipretide clinical trials have taken place to test whether it can be used to treat heart failure, primary mitochondrial myopathy, and other mitochondrial diseases.
It has neuroprotective properties because it promotes mitochondrial and synaptic health and reduces inflammation and pyroptosis in models of cognitive impairment. However, no evidence of these effects in humans has been found.
Older people have an increased risk of developing osteoarthritis, atherosclerosis, diabetes, and glaucoma. Cardiovascular failure and principle mitochondrial myopathy trials, on the other hand, came up empty-handed.
Treatment with SS-31 can cause a few side effects, but these are usually minor. Injection site reaction is the most common side effect of SS-31. SS-31’s long-term safety in humans has not been studied in treatments lasting more than four weeks.
Chronic SS-31 therapy led to the reductions of oxidative anxiety, boosted antioxidant (SOD) activity, and also reduced systemic swelling (lowered lotion ICAM-1, MCP-1, and also IL-6 degrees).
